A Family Pastime Turns into a Successful Auction Business
William “Willy” Wagner was the inspiration and stepping stone for the future of Wagner Auction Service. In the 1970’s, “Willy” conducted many WHITE ELEPHANT and Consignment Sales, which benefited churches and the community. From those early years, his youngest son, Dennis, caught the auction fever.
Dennis F. Wagner attended the PA School of Auctioneering in Harrisburg. He received his PA State License in 1977. While holding a full time job, he pursued his dream by conducting auctions in the evenings and on the weekends. His favorable reputation lead the way for him to become a full time Auctioneer in 1980.
Tracy L. Wagner had a desire to become an Auctioneer at a young age. She began her two year apprenticeship under her father in 1991 and received her PA State License in 1993. She enjoys being a third generation Auctioneer and looks forward to carrying on the family tradition.
